The best jobs in Australia are usually pretty boring.
So why do people choose them?
The answer lies in the work itself, writes the star of one of Australia’s most famous dance studios.
Dani Duszczyk, who is a former ballet dancer, has worked at several dance studios, including the ABC’s Sydney Dance Studio.
She says that dance studios are often a “wonderful way of connecting with people” but that sometimes they don’t pay enough.
“They’re usually run by people who are really talented and who have a passion for what they do,” she said.
“But they don ‘t do much’ for people.”
Dance is really just an art form.
You don’t have a job to do in your own life.
“You have to make money for the studio, or you have to pay for everything else.”
What’s it like working at the ABC?
Dani has a reputation for her dedication to the ABC and her dedication has paid off.
“I have to be very, very careful that I’m not doing the work that will make me money, and that’s not what they want, and it’s not good,” she says.
“The other thing is that people who don’t like to be paid tend to be less successful than people who do.”
