“Wreck it Ralph” will be distributed exclusively on Disney channels and will be directed by Lord and Miller, who have previously helmed “Up,” “Winnie the Pooh,” and “The Incredibles.”
According to the press release, the story revolves around the characters Wreck, an adorable toy shop owner, and Ralph, a big-hearted animal-loving snowman who lives in a big, snowy home on the outskirts of town.
The story of the film centers around Wreck and Ralph’s quest for happiness and the joy that comes with it, as they search for the best toys to help them through the challenges of their lives.
The story will also feature some familiar characters from the Pixar universe, including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Riku, Piglet, Piggy, Wreck’s mother, Wile E. Coyote, the Muppet Babies, and the Ratatouille.
